The Patriots let Stutsman fall into their laps, and walked away with a A. This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Danny Stutsman, the No. 86 name on the board, stolen at the 215th pick. Very little went wrong, and the A is earned.
The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The cost of the Morris reach is exactly the players who went right after him. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
