Grand theft in Round 7, Pick 19: the Bears steal Paul Jr. and grade out a B. The Bears did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Chris Paul Jr. fell into slot 235. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
Campbell has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up. The Bears clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
