Greenfield should have been long gone. The Packers pounced, and earned a B-. You build a draft on nights like this. Garret Greenfield had no business being available in pick 255, and the Packers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. No fireworks, but a solid B-.
Every board in the league had Ford lower, and that gap is the story. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Smith pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback and interior defensive lineman still on the board.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
