The Cowboys got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D-.

There is reaching, and then there is Jamaree Caldwell at the 209th pick. The Cowboys jumped the board by 64 and dared it to prove them wrong. Hard to defend, and the D- reflects that.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. That is a quarterback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Cowboys indulged a want in Gillotte while a need in cornerback and tight end stayed open.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
