The Seahawks let Pearl fall into their laps, and walked away with a B+.

Somebody in Round 7, Pick 25 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Seahawks sat still while Julian Pearl, the No. 204 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The cost of the Zinter reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
