The Cowboys got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D-.

The Shilo Sanders selection is the head-turner. The Cowboys reached 50 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The Cowboys indulged a want in Carter while a need in tight end stayed open. The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

They banked enough surplus on Dart to cover a lot of smaller sins.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
