The Cowboys got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

Nobody had Vincent Anthony Jr. this high, and it is not close. The Cowboys reached 65 spots to get him at the Round 4 slot. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. With tight end unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them.

A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want. Thieneman falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
