You can hear the double-takes from here. The Panthers took Smith Snowden at the 231st pick, roughly 24 spots before his name belonged. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Nwankpa pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
