The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Cowboys watched Sonny Styles slide 122 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

Reaching for Miller left real value on the table behind him. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back.

It is not that Mukuba is a bad player; it is that the Cowboys had louder needs to answer first. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
