The Cowboys cashed the board's mistake on Mukuba: D.

Nobody else had Gabe Jacas anywhere near pick 171. The Cowboys did, by 95 spots, and that gap is the whole story. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D is the result.

That Mukuba pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
