The trade table was where it all came apart. The Cowboys shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Spending an early pick on edge rusher with cornerback, linebacker and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. Hobbs has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The Iamaleava pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
