The rest of the league had time to spare on Carson Beck; the Cowboys did not wait, grabbing him 70 spots ahead at the 12th overall pick. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

Carson Beck gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The McNeil-Warren pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with tight end still on the board.

A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
