The board owed the Jaguars one, and it paid up: Jake Majors, the No. 93 name on the board, sitting there at Round 6, Pick 6 like a gift left on the doorstep. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

They will need Wedig to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. On the needs board they went 8 of 9, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
