The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. If Jackson Jr. pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The Jackson Jr. pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at wide receiver and tight end.
