The Cowboys robbed the room for Allar. Final grade: D-.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Cowboys were there to profit. Drew Allar, the No. 64 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 169th pick.

They will need Hemingway to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Spending an early pick on edge rusher with tight end open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
