Draft Grade — Titans
Overall B
ValueB- NeedA- TradesB- FutureB-
The Titans cashed the board's mistake on Corley: B.

Somebody in the Round 4 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Titans sat still while Malachi Corley, the No. 78 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Watson reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

Pick Analysis
Pick7 Rnd1 Olumuyiwa Fashanu
In slot 7 they get a plug-and-play piece up front. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick38 Rnd2 Chop Robinson
A reasonable price with a little left over, Chop Robinson in No. 38. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick106 Rnd4 Malachi Corley
A top-tier wide receiver at a bargain, Malachi Corley in the 106th pick, plain and simple. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick144 Rnd5 Jaylin Simpson
Jaylin Simpson at Round 5, Pick 8 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick184 Rnd6 Andrew Raym
Andrew Raym in pick 184 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick228 Rnd7 Nathaniel Watson
A conviction pick on Nathaniel Watson at the 228th overall pick that the board grades a round light. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
