The Cowboys drew a line under the quarterback search with Sellers: C+.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Cowboys spent their marquee pick on LaNorris Sellers, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

They banked enough surplus on Branch to cover a lot of smaller sins. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The cost of the Alexander reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. Spending an early pick on safety with tight end open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.
