A masterclass at the trade table lands the Bears a B+.

The Bears clearly saw something nobody else did in Zy Alexander, taking him 89 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Emmanwori pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman, linebacker and other spots still on the board.

Getting Key where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
