The Cowboys cashed the board's mistake on Leonard: D-.

The Cowboys spent real capital to be 35 picks early on Dani Dennis-Sutton, and the board is going to hold them to it.

Getting Leonard where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.

The Cowboys indulged a want in Gillotte while a need in cornerback and tight end stayed open.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
