The Cowboys lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again.

LaNorris Sellers is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The cost of the Singleton reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

It is not that Young is a bad player; it is that the Cowboys had louder needs to answer first. The Iamaleava value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
