The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Cowboys reached some 27 spots for Demond Claiborne, and value like that does not grow back.

The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Spending an early pick on edge rusher with wide receiver, cornerback and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. Running back was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

If LT Overton and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
