Draft Grade — Broncos

Grand theft in the 96th overall pick: the Broncos steal Stowers and grade out a B. For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Broncos walked out of the weekend still thin at edge rusher, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.
The Stowers pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Linebacker is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Christen Miller
In pick 32 they get an anchor for the defensive front, outstanding value to boot. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick64
Rnd2
Nyck Harbor
They let Nyck Harbor come to them and pounced at pick No. 64. It fills a real need, too.
Pick96
Rnd3
Eli Stowers
A tight end of that caliber at the 96th pick is the definition of value, full stop. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick107
Rnd4
C.J. Fite
No edge and no loss on C.J. Fite in No. 107; it is a wash and a sensible one. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick132
Rnd4
Jaishawn Barham
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Jaishawn Barham at slot 132. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
