You can hear the double-takes from here. The Bears took Miles Frazier at Round 7, Pick 42, roughly 88 spots before his name belonged. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Giddens falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
