The 49ers checked most of the boxes and earned a B-.

The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named wide receiver, a need the 49ers walked right past.

They are betting Styles proves the room right and everyone else wrong. On value alone, Pregnon makes the weekend a net positive.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.

Pick Analysis
Pick27 Rnd1 Sonny Styles
In the 27th pick they get a three-down second-level presence, even if it was a touch early. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick58 Rnd2 Emmanuel Pregnon
A quiet steal in pick No. 58: Emmanuel Pregnon for less than the market said. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
