Dixon should have been long gone. The Packers pounced, and earned a B+. Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Packers came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.
They banked enough surplus on Dixon to cover a lot of smaller sins. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They will answer for taking safety early while quarterback, wide receiver and other spots went begging.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
