You build a draft on nights like this. Andru Phillips had no business being available in the 203rd pick, and the Packers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Packers indulged a want in Gray while a need in edge rusher, quarterback and other spots stayed open. The cost of the Hicks reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
