A franchise passer in Sanders headlines a B- weekend for the Giants.

After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Giants committed. Shedeur Sanders is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

However the rest shakes out, Marks at that price is a win they earned. Thomas has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
