Draft Grade — Cardinals

The Cardinals did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B. Everything else got attention, and quarterback got none. That is a strange way for the Cardinals to leave a draft. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Murphy II. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The skill positions did well by the weekend.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick4
Rnd1
Marvin Harrison Jr.
In Round 1, Pick 4 they get a difference-maker at receiver at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick27
Rnd1
Byron Murphy II
In pick No. 27 they get a pocket-collapsing interior rusher, outstanding value to boot. A real need, handled.
