There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Buccaneers started one anyway for Jarquez Hunter, 275 picks ahead of schedule. It washes out to a C, no better and no worse.

They have staked the next five years on Bo Nix, which is the only story that really matters here. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They left with tight end solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
