You can draft well and still miss the point. The Titans did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to interior defensive lineman, which was the need that mattered most. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Johnson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
