Jetz7373 DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks
Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall
B
ValueA-
NeedB
TradesB-
FutureB-
The Seahawks won the night they stopped Strong from sliding. Grade: B. Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Seahawks were there to profit. Ian Strong, the No. 64 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 96. The bottom line is a respectable B.
A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Avieon Terrell
In pick No. 32 they get a sticky cover corner, outstanding value to boot. More want than need.
Pick64
Rnd2
Taurean York
Taurean York in No. 64 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick96
Rnd3
Ian Strong
They will replay Ian Strong at the 96th pick for years; that is how good the value is. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick213
Rnd6
Taylen Green
Taylen Green in the 213th overall pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
