You can draft well and still miss the point. The Commanders did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to wide receiver, which was the need that mattered most.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
