Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B-
ValueC NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
A respectable, level-headed haul for the Ravens: B-.

The Ravens went off the board in a big way for Trey Moore, 45 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

Landing Williams that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

Pick Analysis
Pick14 Rnd1 R Mason Thomas
In pick No. 14 they get juice off the edge, reach and all.
Pick45 Rnd2 Austin Barber
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Austin Barber well ahead of where he belonged. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick80 Rnd3 Antonio Williams
Steal is underselling it; Antonio Williams at pick 80 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It fills a real need, too.
Pick115 Rnd4 Chase Bisontis
Chase Bisontis at slot 115 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick152 Rnd5 Skyler Gill-Howard
No drama and no debate, Skyler Gill-Howard went about where he belonged in the 152nd overall pick. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick160 Rnd5 Mike Washington Jr.
They read the board right and Mike Washington Jr. was the payoff at the Round 5 slot. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick172 Rnd5 Trey Moore
Trey Moore at pick No. 172 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick173 Rnd5 Max Iheanachor
A tidy little value on Max Iheanachor in Round 5, Pick 35, a step better than break-even. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick249 Rnd7 Noah Fifita
A quiet steal in the Round 7 slot: Noah Fifita for less than the market said. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick252 Rnd7 Ricardo Hallman
Ricardo Hallman in the 252nd pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
