Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall B-
ValueB+ NeedB TradesF FutureA+
The Raiders let Skattebo fall and pounced. Final grade: B-.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Raiders watched Cam Skattebo slide 33 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick29 Rnd1 Nick Emmanwori
In the 29th pick they get an enforcer at safety at a price that makes it sweeter. Need was not the driver here.
Pick37 Rnd2 Shavon Revel Jr.
They let Shavon Revel Jr. come to them and pounced at Round 2, Pick 5. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick61 Rnd2 Omarion Hampton
Omarion Hampton at pick No. 61 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick68 Rnd3 Jayden Higgins
Jayden Higgins at the Round 3 slot is money in the bank, a wide receiver taken below his worth. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick108 Rnd4 Jalen Milroe
Jalen Milroe in slot 108 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick129 Rnd4 Tory Horton
They robbed the room for Tory Horton here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick143 Rnd5 Cam Skattebo
Steal is underselling it; Cam Skattebo at pick 143 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick210 Rnd6 Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson
A quiet steal in No. 210: Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson for less than the market said. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick213 Rnd6 Dont'e Thornton Jr.
Somehow Dont'e Thornton Jr. was still sitting there in slot 213, and they pounced on premier wide receiver value. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick215 Rnd6 Caleb Rogers
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Caleb Rogers in the Round 6 slot. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick222 Rnd7 Alijah Huzzie
Alijah Huzzie at pick No. 222 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick231 Rnd7 Desmond Watson
Good price on Desmond Watson in the 231st overall pick, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
