Raider65 DRAFTING FOR THERaiders

Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall

FutureB-
The Raiders left with their quarterback, and a B- to match. After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Raiders committed. Dante Moore is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.
If Laloulu pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through running back.
The Muhammad value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
Pick Analysis
Pick2
Rnd1
Dante Moore
In the 2nd overall pick they get the arm they will build around. A real need, handled.
Pick33
Rnd2
Caleb Banks
Nothing to complain about; Caleb Banks went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick67
Rnd3
Austin Siereveld
They left a pile of value on the table to take Austin Siereveld this early at pick 67. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick102
Rnd4
Malik Muhammad
Malik Muhammad at pick No. 102 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick111
Rnd4
Deion Burks
By-the-book stuff, Deion Burks at Round 4, Pick 11 squarely in line with his ranking. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick136
Rnd4
Iapani Laloulu
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Iapani Laloulu. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick173
Rnd5
Bryce Boettcher
They went early on Bryce Boettcher in slot 173, and the value did not follow. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
