The board owed the Falcons one, and it paid up: Terry Moore, the No. 60 name on the board, sitting there at No. 114 like a gift left on the doorstep. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

Reaching for Hoover left real value on the table behind him. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
