There is a lot to like until you notice interior defensive lineman is still a hole. The Patriots never got to the one that mattered most. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

The Higgins pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
