You could see the war room lean forward. Tahj Washington at the 226th overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball. The dealing was even money, start to finish.
