The steal of the weekend belongs to the Ravens and Jackson: B-.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Khyree Jackson tumbling to the Ravens in pick No. 113 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Every board in the league had Means lower, and that gap is the story. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Jordan Morgan
In pick 30 they get a plug-and-play piece up front. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick62 Rnd2 Xavier Worthy
They paid sticker price for Xavier Worthy in slot 62, and that is fine. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick93 Rnd3 Audric Estime
They paid up for Audric Estime at the 93rd pick when waiting would have done the job. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick113 Rnd4 Khyree Jackson
A cornerback of that caliber at the Round 4 slot is the definition of value, full stop. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick130 Rnd4 Mohamed Kamara
Mohamed Kamara in No. 130 is fair value, right on his grade. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick165 Rnd5 Walter Rouse
No edge and no loss on Walter Rouse in pick No. 165; it is a wash and a sensible one. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick218 Rnd6 Johnny Dixon
They robbed the room for Johnny Dixon here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick228 Rnd7 Bub Means
A reach for Bub Means in Round 7, Pick 8; a little patience would have been rewarded. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick250 Rnd7 Josh Proctor
Josh Proctor at Round 7, Pick 30 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. It adds depth where they could use a little.
