The Ty'Ron Hopper selection is the head-turner. The Texans reached 51 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. No fireworks, but a solid B.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Benson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. A whole weekend of picks and offensive lineman is somehow still a want.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with running back chief among the fixes.

Good work on the whole, with offensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
