The Texans won the night they stopped Watts from sliding. Grade: B.

The board owed the Texans one, and it paid up: Xavier Watts, the No. 49 name on the board, sitting there at pick 89 like a gift left on the doorstep. The bottom line is a respectable B.

They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it. The Mukuba pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with wide receiver, edge rusher and other spots still on the board.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
