Draft Grade — Jets
Overall A-
ValueA- NeedB TradesA+ FutureA
A masterclass at the trade table lands the Jets a A-.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Jets took Collin Oliver a full 111 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

The Singleton value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. Jeff Okudah gives the group a proven body among the projects.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.

Pick Analysis
Pick25 Rnd1 Shavon Revel Jr.
In the Round 1 slot they get a lockdown presence outside, and a steal at that. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick41 Rnd2 Malaki Starks
Circle this one: Malaki Starks at pick 41 is a fall that decides a draft. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick57 Rnd2 Tyler Warren
They let Tyler Warren come to them and pounced at slot 57. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick95 Rnd3 Dylan Sampson
Dylan Sampson in the 95th pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. The roster fit checks out.
Pick110 Rnd4 Deontae Lawson
They robbed the room for Deontae Lawson here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick145 Rnd5 Jake Majors
Somehow Jake Majors was still sitting there in Round 5, Pick 7, and they pounced on premier offensive lineman value. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick161 Rnd5 Jaeden Roberts
They paid sticker price for Jaeden Roberts in pick No. 161, and that is fine. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick184 Rnd6 Collin Oliver
Collin Oliver at the 184th overall pick is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick207 Rnd6 Nicholas Singleton
Taking Nicholas Singleton in the 207th pick is close to grand larceny; a running back that good had no business lasting this long. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
