Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Packers.

The Packers did not so much draft Dont'e Thornton Jr. as overpay for him, 21 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
