The Giants fleeced the room on the phones and earned a A-.

There is reaching, and then there is Brady Cook at the Round 5 slot. The Giants jumped the board by 93 and dared it to prove them wrong. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

Carter at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

The Giants clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

A strong weekend's work, and a rare one to find this little fault with.
