Best value of the weekend goes to the Browns for Taylor: B+.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Browns were there to profit. Mason Taylor, the No. 102 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 5 slot. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster. They went 5 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
