The Packers indulged a want in Smith while a need in edge rusher, quarterback and other spots stayed open. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They will need Simon to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
