Whoever sat across the table from the Texans should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.

However the rest shakes out, McCaffrey at that price is a win they earned. Reaching for McLachlan left real value on the table behind him.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.
