Skattebo should have been long gone. The Saints pounced, and earned a B.

Call it larceny. Cam Skattebo sat on the board until Round 6, Pick 10, and the Saints did not need to be asked twice. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.

Jonah Monheim at the Round 7 slot is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
