js32000 DRAFTING FOR THEBills
Draft Selections
Draft Grade — Bills
Overall

FutureB-
The steal of the weekend belongs to the Bills and Majors: B. Somebody in the 169th pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bills sat still while Jake Majors, the No. 93 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.
Reaching for Prather left real value on the table behind him. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
Linebacker is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
Pick Analysis
Pick29
Rnd1
Kenneth Grant
In the Round 1 slot they get a pocket-collapsing interior rusher. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick60
Rnd2
Jihaad Campbell
Jihaad Campbell in the 60th pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick61
Rnd2
Andrew Mukuba
They paid up for Andrew Mukuba at Round 2, Pick 29 when waiting would have done the job. The roster fit checks out.
Pick108
Rnd4
Tory Horton
Good price on Tory Horton in No. 108, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick130
Rnd4
Cam Skattebo
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Cam Skattebo at slot 130 is the proof. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick169
Rnd5
Jake Majors
Steal is underselling it; Jake Majors at pick 169 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick172
Rnd5
Joshua Gray
No drama and no debate, Joshua Gray went about where he belonged in pick No. 172. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick176
Rnd6
Ja'Corey Brooks
Value said wait; Ja'Corey Brooks in the 176th overall pick says they were not listening. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick204
Rnd6
Jaylin Smith
They talked themselves into Jaylin Smith at pick No. 204, and the board did not agree. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick207
Rnd6
Kaden Prather
Kaden Prather at Round 6, Pick 32 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
