A solid, sensible weekend for the Bills: B-.

The curious call sets the tone. With safety, quarterback and other spots still glaring, the Bills used Round 4, Pick 29 on Khyree Jackson, a cornerback they were not exactly short of. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

For all the activity, safety went untouched, which is hard to explain. However the rest shakes out, Jackson at that price is a win they earned.

If Colson pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. On the needs board they went 5 of 9, with linebacker the one that mattered most.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
